Latest Updates from Our Project:

FINALLY some some positive news for EU and UK
almost 2 years ago – Sat, Jun 25, 2022 at 05:39:49 AM

Hey everyone! Thank you all so much for your continued patience regarding EU and UK. We had a very productive meeting with our representative from the UK company handling our VAT process and they believe they've gotten things worked out, and are confirming with our rep from Quartermaster and conversely their rep for Spiral Galaxy. Long story short, this looks like it might be coming to a conclusion soon. We still have to confirm with Spiral Galaxy, but it looks likely that we'll be getting things to you all soon. I hope to have more details this week.

Additionally, we've decided we're going to be doing direct shipping for the next project Into the Cess and Citadel, so we'll avoid this altogether. Stay tuned for more details about that one.

Moving at the speed of bureaucracy...
almost 2 years ago – Mon, May 02, 2022 at 10:34:54 PM

Moving forward!

This update is for our UK/European backers. We received notice on Friday that our paperwork has finally been accepted for processing and they are working on it. Honestly, this element has been the most frustrating part of the entire process, especially since we had to start the process over with an entirely new vendor. Regardless, once this is done, we'll not have to do it again.

We jokingly said that this process is moving at the speed of bureaucracy, and that's the most frustrating part. The vendor we're working with and our partners at QML have been great every step of the way, but they can only give us as much information on the status as they've been given from the governmental agencies responsible.

Remember: If you have moved or require a change of address. please message us and let us know. We've been told that you will also receive a confirmation email prior to shipping, but if we can make any of those changes ahead of time, we'll try to do so to prevent any mis-shipments.

On our side, we're still continuing to develop or other projects such as Heckin' Good Doggos, and Into the Cess and Citadel while also lining up our convention plans for the year. Thank you all for the encouragement and the patience as all of this continues. We know we couldn't do any of this without you and your support, and are grateful for the continued interest in what we're developing. We'll be making some special announcements next month about the future of some of our products.

Into the Cess and Citadel BACKER PREVIEW!!!
about 2 years ago – Tue, Mar 22, 2022 at 09:26:38 PM

Roads beyond counting and buildings that block the very sun. A city that stretches without measure and whose secrets are without number...

A sprawling metropolis, built on the bones of cities long forgotten, it is as every bit as colorful and chaotic as it is deadly and unforgiving. It is ruled from the glistening Spires above; The Nobles, demigods of flesh made gold, who’s tyrannical whims ebb and flow like bloody tides across the city. Yet, as tall as the city towers above, so too does it descend below, where dark and terrible things roil with hunger beneath the cobblestone streets...

This city eats people. Never forget that.

Into the Cess and Citadel is a supplemental book for those seeking to incorporate a strange, colorful, and terrifying city into their role-playing game. Presented within the book is a comprehensive guide to running adventures or campaigns within a fantastical city, along with an overhaul of the adventuring system to better accommodate the unique challenges and benefits of a sprawling urban environment.

Currently, the book includes:

  • Rules for traveling and surviving in a city; including exploration, traffic, and hazards.
  • Tools for generating unique urban factions and their complicated relationships.
  • Guides for running each of the urban environments presented within the book and pointers on how they differ from dungeons or wilderness.
  • Step-by-step guides for generating and running three unique city landscapes: the sprawling Megacity, the dungeon-like Undercity, and the dangerously opulent Spires.
  • Hundreds of tools, hirelings, contraband and services both mundane and strange.
  • Unique districts to explore and exploit, from the grand libraries of the Archivists to the industrial hellscapes of the Foundry.
  • Dozens of tables for dressing shops, streets, NPCs and more.
  • 50+ monsters ranging from Depraved Aristocrats, Sewer Walruses, and Dire Pigeons
  • Magical artifacts, curious spells, diseases, locations and more…
  • With tools and options for Player and Referee alike, Into the Cess and the Citadel is a complete resource for any foray into the urban adventure!

VAT Update (and still we wait...)
about 2 years ago – Tue, Mar 22, 2022 at 06:28:03 PM

Hey everyone. Thank you so much for your patience as we continue to wait for out VAT approval. We've followed up with our vendor and they are following up with the appropriate government authorities. They also reminded us that we're still within the normal approval timeframe, but they're doing everything the can to expedite this process.

Again, we apologize for this delay and understand the frustration for our supporters in the UK and EU who might see the book on store shelves while still waiting for their own pledge to be fulfilled. As a reminder, these stores would have ordered these from a distributor and would have paid all taxes and duties to do so. Those may be costs passed on to customers, but Wet Ink Games will be paying these costs for our backers.

We will DEFINITELY keep you all informed about this process as it progresses, and cannot wait to get these books and products into your hands.

IF YOU NEED TO CHANGE YOUR ADDRESS: Please let us know via Kickstarter message and we can make sure the update gets made and sent to Spiral Galaxy (our EU fulfillment partner).

Also...be on the lookout for an update later tonight with more details about the upcoming Into the Cess and Citadel!

Stickers and VAT Update
about 2 years ago – Wed, Feb 23, 2022 at 08:21:50 AM

Hey everyone! We have some brief updates as to this continued fulfillment and we can't wait until it's all wrapped up.

United States, Canada & RotW from QML

  • Fulfillment is complete. IF YOU HAVE NOT RECEIVED YOURS, please let us know by reaching out to us via private message and we'll investigate the tracking information and see if a replacement needs to be dispatched.

Worldwide Fulfillment from the hubs

Due to the fact that we were waiting on the on The Grim Harvest print run, these are on their way, and we're working closely with QML to keep this moving.

  • VFI - (Asia) The stock shipment arrived but VFI will be closed for roughly 2 weeks during their national holiday for Lunar New Year - fulfillment is set to begin any day now. We have a a request for additional detail out with QML.
  • Aetherworks - (Aus/NZ) Fulfillment has started and you all should start receiving packages soon.
  • Spiral Galaxy - (UK/EU) As mentioned previously, we switched vendors for VAT. This was a completely unanticipated issue, but our new vendor has been extremely helpful and responsive, and are dedicated to helping us get this stuff over to you ASAP.  We're in a period of "hurry up and wait" for our VAT documentation to get processed so we can get the UK and EU pledges fulfilled. QML has everything loaded and ready to ship, and as soon as that documentation is received, they'll be sending that out.

Electronic Copies

If you haven't received your PDFs, please reach out to us via private message (please include your email address) and we'll send you the complimentary PDF copies of Into the Wyrd and Wild and The Grim Harvest. We want you to have these at your disposal, so please let us know.

Stickers!

As many of you pointed out, there was an omitted picture of the Cacophonous Crow Man in the printed book. For many, the missing art wasn't an issue. You could live with that. However, we didn't want to leave it there and definitely want to do right by you all.  We told you all that we would investigate some potential options to remedy this.  We've looked at these options and have decided to print some stickers of the image so those of you who want to can get one and slap it in your books. This isn't going to be a vinyl decal or anything that you would put on your car, but it will be perfect to put in the pages of the book with minimal disruption.

We will have some more details around this in the future, but as it stands right now, we'll print these and have them with us at Origins, GenCon, and PaxU this year, so you can come by, chat, and pick one up at no cost to you. Thanks for the support. If you can't make it to any of those conventions, we'll also make them available to any backer who wants one. All we ask is that you pay the minimal shipping cost, and we'll toss it in the mail to you.

Heckin' Good Doggos! (48 hours left)

Heckin’ Good Doggos is a family friendly, all ages role-playing game where the players take on the roles of humankind’s best friends: The dog! It is a game of "Dogs doin' Dog Stuff" that focuses on the kinds of stories and adventures dogs can get into such as:

  • Finding their favorite treats.
  • Barking at that squirrel up in the tree
  • Finding their human Best Friend who has gone missing.
  • Banishing an ancient spirit that threatens the neighborhood.
  • Scavenging for supplies in a futuristic wasteland.
  • And so much more!

We hope we can count on your support to help bring this hilarious and fun game to life! CLICK HERE TO FOLLOW THE PROJECT!!!

Into the Cess and Citadel

We promised you an update right before the start of the New Year, and we're working with Charles to get some snippets of what you can expect from the second book in this awesome series, and a sneak peek at some of the art. We're still working on that dedicated update because we've been super busy wrapping up this fulfillment, running Heckin' Good Doggos, and working day jobs, while Charlie and Alex from Feral Indie Studio have been helping orchestrate Zine Month! We promise we'll have more details for you soon. In the meantime, check out Charlie's new Zine, andall the other great projects by some really cool creators HERE (and also by clicking the image below.)

We'll be launching this on Gamefound (most likely) in late May or Early June.
